Diwali

First of all, let me wish all my friends a Happy Diwali.

How is Diwali going for me? Well this Diwali didn't start well. I got in morning with a call from my cousin Aswin, who is here in Bangalore, to the news that my aunt (my grandma's sister) has passed away, at 3 in morning. She was the one who gave me my name - Vaisakh. And has always looked after me. But I am not feeling so sad or down about it. May be because of the fact that, she is relieved of all the pain and health problems that she was suffering from and as far as I know, she was able to enjoy her life and lived every moment of it very well. Saw her children and grand children grew up too.

And something amazing also happened at my home. Early morning, my dad woke up,startled, saying that he felt someone is there in our home and felt like calling or something. He went about checking all the rooms thinking someone has broken into our house. But after 10 minutes, he got a call from aunt's husband, about the bad news. Dad has always been more attached to her that anyone. Its amazing right? If someone is really attached to a person, if something happens to them, we will be able to feel it. Is it because of what you call a blood relation or is it something else?
