Why should I waste it?? :P

Last weekend turned out to be very heavy for both my pocket and my colleague - Mukesh. On Saturday we had to come to office for complete some pending tasks. Our Teammates, including out Lead were also there. Things were going pretty smoothly till then.

At noon, PL came and asked us, where we guys are going for lunch. Hoping to get a treat from him, if you are willing, we can go outside and have lunch (How we thought up of that?? I donno.. that was the our dumbest decision). five of us went to the near by Dakshini Hotel.

Thinking of this as his treat, we ate everything that we could find, 3 or 4 items of startes, chicken, veg, then went for main course in to meals and biriyani and on top of that lime soda :P...

But in the end, tables turned, PL told that, he didn't bring cash or his sodexho pass :P
Both me and Mukesh had to pay with our sodexho pass.. :( 1300 total ....

Still hope was there that he would give us back our money on monday. But we didn't see any response or talk about that from him. Today I decided to a group mail, asking about this (Just for fun... indeed), So composed a mail, telling about recesion and other stuff ... blah blah... Just then he came in and gave the whole amount :P

Phew....

But I dont want to waste that mail, which took me about 10-20 mins to compose :P
So thought of posting it here :P

Hi,

As all of us are aware - the last year has seen the world’s worst financial crisis,
which impacted businesses of all sizes all over the world and also out pockets.


Although the next two years or more are expected to usher in a difficult phase for the national economy,
there are silver linings still amid the dark clouds looming on the horizon.

So considering the above mentioned factors and facts, I request all the "involved parties" to contribute to the expense involved in out last weeks' eat out on saturday :P
